The result was ‘Focus’ performed live and livestreamed at DanceEast on 3rd November The process was exhilarating, challenging and inspiring. Each member of EncoreEast has developed as a dancer, gentle guided by Edd and Alethia’s intuitive teaching of Russell’s practice. Running through the project is research into dance with older bodies and into the way EncoreEast is evolving its organisational model. We are blurring boundaries and finding connections between professional and community dancers, age groups, practice and organisation.
